VPNMakers Privacy Policy
On this page, we clearly explain what information we collect, how we use it, and what we do not log at all. VPNMakers aims to provide a secure VPN service while collecting only the minimum data required for service management and support.
Minimum necessary data
Email and order details are kept to create accounts, issue invoices, and handle support requests.
No traffic content logging
What you view or send online is not stored or analyzed in readable content form on our side.
Security-first
We use HTTPS and standard security practices to protect user data.
1. What information do we collect?
VPNMakers collects only the information necessary to provide and manage the VPN service, including:
- Email: for subscription management, sending connection details, important notices, and support.
- Order information: such as selected plan, paid amount, transaction status, payment method, and internal invoice/order identifiers.
- Minimal technical information: like your public IP at the time of placing an order, browser User-Agent, order creation/update timestamps, and limited high-level system logs.
- Minimal system logs: for server protection, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention (e.g., connection time, selected server location, count of system errors, and similar high-level signals) may be stored in an aggregated/operational form.
2. What information do we not collect?
VPNMakers does not log your traffic content. This means: the websites you visit, pages you open, form contents, messages, files, and similar content are not stored or analyzed as readable content on our side.
The purpose of the service is to provide a secure connection and help bypass filtering— not to build behavioral profiles or sell user data.
3. How we use information
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Creating, managing, and renewing your VPNMakers account and subscription.
- Sending emails with connection details, important service changes, and support responses.
- Managing payments, reviewing failed/suspicious transactions, and accounting operations.
- Improving the service, monitoring stability/capacity, and strengthening infrastructure security.
- Bug fixing, troubleshooting, and handling support requests.
4. Sharing information with third parties
In general, VPNMakers does not sell user information and does not broadly share it with third parties, except in the following cases:
- Crypto payment gateways: when you use gateways such as NowPayments, the minimum information needed to create an invoice (e.g., amount, selected currency, order identifier) is shared with the payment provider.
- Legal requirements: if we receive a valid, official order from competent authorities (under applicable laws), we may be required to disclose certain account/order-related information.
- Infrastructure services: hosting, network, email, or monitoring providers that are required to operate the service and are contractually bound to follow privacy and security standards.
5. Data retention
Order, payment, and subscription information is retained for a reasonable period for accounting, support, and service management (e.g., to resolve issues or maintain payment history).
Technical/system logs may be automatically rotated and deleted on a schedule, unless longer retention is required for investigating abuse, security incidents, or legal obligations.
6. Data security
VPNMakers uses standard security measures to protect your information, such as HTTPS, access controls on servers, regular software updates, and secure system/web-server configuration.
However, no online system has zero risk, and complete protection against all threats cannot be guaranteed.
7. Cookies and analytics
The VPNMakers website may use essential technical cookies for proper functionality (e.g., language preference, UI settings, or login state).
If analytics tools are used, we aim to use data in an aggregated and anonymized manner, without direct linkage to your personal identity, to the extent the selected tool allows.
8. Your rights regarding your data
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may request:
- Access to or updates of your email and basic account information.
- Deletion or anonymization of certain information, as long as it is not required for legal, financial, or security purposes.
You can submit such requests via the form on the Contact Us page.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
VPNMakers may update this policy in the future to reflect technical, legal, or business changes. The latest version will always be published on this page, and continued use of the service means acceptance of the updated policy.
We recommend reviewing this page periodically to stay informed of changes.
10. Privacy questions
If you have any questions or concerns about how we collect, use, or retain data, you can contact the VPNMakers team via the Contact Us page.
In the contact form, please include the email address you used to place your order and a brief description of your request so we can help faster.
