VPNMakers Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital services and cryptocurrency payments, refunds are limited and depend on specific conditions. Please read this section carefully before purchasing.
1. Service nature & crypto payments
VPNMakers is a subscription-based digital VPN service. Payments are mostly made via cryptocurrency. Once a crypto transaction is confirmed on-chain, it is generally irreversible and cannot be cancelled directly.
For this reason, VPNMakers applies a limited, case-by-case refund policy to protect users while staying aligned with how crypto payments work.
2. Cases that may be eligible for review
In the following situations, a partial or full refund may be reviewed and issued if approved:
- Service not delivered: if payment is confirmed but service credentials/config are not delivered to the registered email within a reasonable time due to an issue on VPNMakers side.
- Major technical issue on VPNMakers side: if for a significant period (e.g., several consecutive days) the service cannot be used due to an infrastructure issue that cannot be resolved by changing location/server or applying standard setup steps.
- Clear payment amount error: if you accidentally paid a significantly higher amount than the selected plan (without prior coordination), we may review and refund the excess when technically and financially possible.
3. Non-refundable cases
In general, refunds are not available in the following cases:
- Change of mind after delivery: e.g., “I changed my mind”, “I no longer need a VPN”, or “I chose another service”.
- Issues with exchanges or destination services: such as account limitation/closure on exchanges, websites, or platforms that are outside VPNMakers control.
- Misuse or violation of terms: any suspicious/illegal activity or breach of the Terms of Service may result in termination without refund.
- User-side issues: such as ISP/internet problems, operating system issues, firewall/antivirus interference, or user network setup.
- Exchange rate fluctuations & fees: differences in conversion rates, network fees, payment gateway fees, or exchange fees.
4. Partial refunds
In some approved cases, instead of a full refund, a partial refund may be issued based on remaining subscription time and actual use.
Review factors may include:
- Time elapsed since the subscription started.
- Actual usage and the severity/frequency of reported issues.
- The type of issue (infrastructure failure, payment mistake, or other special cases).
The final decision on the amount/type of refund is made after reviewing the case to balance user rights with technical and financial constraints.
5. Time window for refund requests
For a fair review, we recommend submitting a refund request within a short time after purchase (for example, within the first 7 days of subscription start).
Requests submitted long after the subscription start are less likely to qualify for a full refund and, if approved, are more commonly handled as partial refunds.
6. How to request a refund
To submit a request, please contact support via the Contact Us page and provide (as much as possible) the following:
- The email address you used to purchase the VPN service.
- Your order ID (if available) and the selected plan.
- Approximate purchase date and the crypto network/token used.
- A clear explanation of the issue or the reason for the refund request.
- If possible, screenshots, logs, or error messages related to the issue.
After submission, our team will review your case and respond via email or the contact method you provided.
7. How refunds are issued
Since payments are crypto-based, if a refund is approved:
- Refunds are typically issued in crypto, and when possible in the same network/token used for the original payment.
- Network fees, payment gateway fees, or exchange fees may be deducted from the refundable amount.
- You must provide a correct wallet address, and you are responsible for the accuracy of the wallet address.
8. Updates to this Refund Policy
VPNMakers may update this policy in the future to better reflect new technical, financial, or legal conditions.
- The latest version will always be published on this page.
- New orders are reviewed under the version active at the time of purchase.
- For older orders, we aim to apply a fair and transparent approach aligned with conditions at the time of purchase.
If anything is unclear, please contact support via the Contact Us page.
